How to use this tool

Film a side view

  • Camera beside the bike, about hip height.
  • True side view — not three-quarter or from the front.
  • Full rider in frame: head, hips, feet, and bars.
  • Allow camera permission when the browser asks.
  • http://localhost is a secure context — that is enough.

How to read the overlay

  • Green: in the typical range.
  • Amber: close (within 8°).
  • Red: outside the typical range.
  • A dash means the joint was not seen — not a red flag.
  • Knee color (green/amber/red) applies only at the bottom of the pedal stroke. The number still updates every frame; off-bottom the knee stays muted, not red.

What each angle is

  • Knee: hip → knee → ankle. The live number is every frame; the 137–155° color check is only at the bottom of the stroke (BDC).
  • Hip / torso: shoulder → hip → knee (back vs thigh).
  • Elbow: shoulder → elbow → wrist.
  • Shoulder: hip → shoulder → elbow (torso vs upper arm).

Typical indoor/road interior-angle bands: Holmes/Silberman & Millour (knee at BDC), Swart & Holliday (hip), Velogic road metrics (elbow, shoulder). 2D side view only — not a diagnosis.
